New scanner :)

My new scanner arrived today. Well, it's an all-in-one printer/scanner actually. I was never that happy with the old one especially since lines started appearing in the scan. I think the bulb was going bad. So do I rescan everything (ugh) or start fresh? I'm going to test some of the latest art. Does anybody use a large format scanner (approx. 11" x 17")?
